Gran Canaria cycling camp — sunshine all year round in the Canary Islands
Gran Canaria is one of the few cycling destinations where you can ride twelve months a year. Empty roads, spectacular climbing from the seafront to Pico de las Nieves at 1,949 m and a mild climate all year round: the island has everything a cyclist is looking for. LE RAIDARD offers group trips on fixed dates, as well as the option to travel at any time of year — solo, as a couple, with a group of friends or as a club.
Why ride in Gran Canaria?
Cyclists who know Gran Canaria call it a “miniature continent”. In a single ride, you can go from the sea to over 1,900 m, through volcanic landscapes, pine forests and panoramic roads, with hardly a car in sight.
- Pico de las Nieves: a 35 km climb from the sea, one of the longest climbs in Europe
- Roads in perfect condition, ideal for road cycling
- A steady climate between 18 and 26°C all year round
- A unique concentration of pros and amateurs on winter training camps
- Easy to reach by air, with direct flights
